Air conditioners are essential to escape the heat in summer. While air conditioners are entering thousands of households, they are also developing continuously. Now, air conditioners are gradually developing in the direction of miniaturization, high efficiency, and long use time. The air-conditioning heat exchangers are also developing in the direction of ultra-thin and high-strength. Air conditioning aluminum foil can be divided into seven categories according to its processing technology and function characteristics.
1. Uncoated aluminum foil
Uncoated aluminum foil refers to the aluminum foil that has been rolled and annealed and the surface has not been treated in any way. Even now, about 50% of the heat exchanger used in foreign developed countries are still uncoated aluminum foil.
2. Coated aluminum foil
The so-called coated commercial aluminum foil is the surface reprocessing of the uncoated aluminum foil to make it have a special function. In countries with rapid technological development such as Japan and Germany, the application of coated aluminum foil has a history of more than 15 years.
3. Corrosion-resistant aluminum foil
The surface of the corrosion-resistant aluminum foil product has a corrosion-resistant protective layer. The air-conditioning heat exchanger made of this product can be used in relatively harsh areas and can significantly increase the service life of the air conditioner. At the same time, thanks to the improvement of the corrosion resistance of the heat exchanger, the generation of external corrosion powder is greatly reduced, the ventilation quality is improved, and the air in the air-conditioned room is also purified.
4. Hydrophilic aluminum foil
The surface of hydrophilic aluminum fin has strong hydrophilicity. The quality of the hydrophilic function is determined by the angle (angle a) formed by the water sticking to the surface of the aluminum foil. The smaller the angle a, the better the hydrophilic function, and vice versa the worse the hydrophilic function. In general, the angle a is less than 35°, which is attributed to the hydrophilic function. Hydrophilic aluminum foil is generally used on condensers of air conditioners. Its main function is to make the moisture in the hot air easy to flow down the sheet when it condenses into water droplets on the heat exchange sheet. In this way, the ventilation effect of the heat exchanger can be avoided due to the "bridge" of water droplets between the heat exchanger, and then the heat exchange rate of the air conditioner can be increased, and electricity can be saved under the condition of the same cooling capacity. Now, the general hydrophilic aluminum foil 1235 on the market has good hydrophilicity on the surface and high corrosion resistance, which makes the function of the air conditioner more and more optimized.
5. Hydrophobic aluminum foil
Water-repellent aluminum foil is also called water-repellent aluminum foil, and its appearance function is just the opposite of that of hydrophilic aluminum foil. That is say, when the condensed water condenses on the surface of the aluminum foil, the contact angle formed with the aluminum foil is relatively large, generally above 75°. The larger the angle, the better the water repellency. The purpose of using hydrophobic aluminum foil is the same as that of hydrophilic aluminum foil, that is to say, to prevent condensed water from remaining between the heat exchanger. The difference is that the hydrophobic aluminum foil achieves the purpose of removing the condensed water between the heat exchanger by increasing the contact angle between the condensed water and the heat exchange fins, so that the condensed water forms droplets that are easy to slide down.
6. Self-lubricating aluminum foil
During the processing and manufacturing process of the air-conditioning heat exchanger, lubricating oil is generally added to its surface, then punched and flanged, and then the lubricating oil is washed away. Since it is harmful to the human body, in order to reduce this process, the self-lubricating aluminum foil is correspondingly produced. Self-lubricating aluminum foil does not need to add lubricating oil separately during its punching process, and the lubrication during punching is borne by the pre-treated film on the surface of the aluminum foil. Since no special lubricating oil is required, subsequent cleaning and drying processes are also omitted.
7. Anti-mildew aluminum foil
Mildew-proof commercial aluminum foil should be used for the indoor unit part of the air conditioner. Its main function is to avoid the appearance of mildew on the heat exchanger, significantly improve the ventilation quality of the air conditioner, avoid the generation of peculiar smell, and effectively improve the air conditioner indoor environment due to long use or placement time.
